English explanations
In this Odù Ọ̀yẹ̀kú méjì, Ifá foresees ire which is goodness for the person this Odù is revealed for.
Ifa says this person should comply ẹbọ to give birth to a fortunate child and for his or her child to become a successful person in life.
If this Odù Ifa Ọ̀yẹ̀kú méjì is your personal Odù Ifá, cobra (ejò ọká) is probably one of your taboo. Though, it is a taboo for you to eat or kill cobra.
Ifá says you should have strong faith in Ifá as your savior because it is Ifá and Orí that can help you to become a great person in life . According to the history of the Odù Ọ̀yẹ̀kú Alápà, the protagonist (Cobra) was suffering of barrenness and she went to a babaláwo to consult Ifá about her barrenness issue.
As the babaláwo consulted, Odù Ọ̀yẹ̀kú méjì came up for her and the Babaláwo recited this verse for her. Then the babaláwo advised her to comply Ẹbọ for a better life, and she complied the Ẹbọ. Then Alápà welcomed a new baby within a year, she then rejoiced and appreciated to Olódùmarè and the babaláwo.
